How we protect your association's data
Boards trust us with owner balances, payments, ballots and private records. Here is how we keep them safe.
Payments handled by Stripe
Card and bank payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified provider. Full card and account numbers never touch HOA Manage servers.
Encryption
All traffic uses HTTPS encryption, and data is encrypted at rest in our hosted database and file storage.
Access by role
- Management, board, homeowner and vendor roles each see only what they need.
- Database rules enforce that one association can never read another association's records.
- Board-only documents and individual owner balances stay private from other residents.
Audit trails
Votes, e-signatures, tie-break decisions, ledger charges and fine escalations are logged with who did what and when, so the board can show its work.
AI with guardrails
The resident assistant answers only from your association's own documents. AI drafts for the board require a person to approve them before anything is sent. Your data is not used to train public AI models.
Backups and export
Data is backed up automatically. Your association can export its ledger and records at any time, so you are never locked in.
